By accessing or using QuickRezume (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

2. Description of Service

QuickRezume is a free online resume builder that helps users create professional, ATS-friendly resumes. The Service includes resume editing, template selection, AI-powered writing assistance, PDF generation, and resume storage features.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create on QuickRezume, including your resume data, text, and any other materials you upload or enter. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to promote illegal activities.
• Create resumes containing false or misleading information intended to defraud employers.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service.
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.

6. AI Features

QuickRezume offers optional AI-powered features to assist with resume writing. AI-generated suggestions are provided as recommendations only. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before including it in your resume. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI suggestions.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or security reasons. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

8. Intellectual Property

The QuickRezume name, logo, templates, design elements, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Resume templates are licensed for your personal use in creating resumes and may not be redistributed or sold.

9. Limitation of Liability

QuickRezume is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost employment opportunities or data loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your resume data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in accordance with the jurisdiction where the Service operator is established.
